Rev. David Owen Filson lives in Nashville with his wife, Diane. The have one Cocker Spaniel named Cassie. David is the Pastor at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church Mission, a new P.C.A. church plant of the Nashville Presbytery. David holds a B.A. in Christian Education from Oakland City University, an M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. through Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. David served as a student assistant for Dr. Robert Peterson, Professor of Systematic Theology at Covenant. He also served as tutor in the Covenant Seminary Extension Program. David is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and Friends of Jonathon Edwards. He is currently working on book and article projects, and has contibuted to Presbyterion, the academic journal of Covenant Theological Seminary. His primary areas of research have been in the New Testament, and Systematic and Historical Theology, especially the theology of Jonathan Edwards.
Michael L. Shrum has four children, Michael, Jr., Jonathan, Holly, and Timothy. A pastor/scholar, he has over twenty years experience in pastoral ministry, serving churches in Middle Tennessee, and Southeast Florida. Michael has done continuing education studies through Reformed Theological Seminary, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and Covenant Theological Seminary. Michael is a member of the Evangelical Theological Soceity. He has contributed to Reformation and Revival Journal. Steeped in Puritan literature, Michael's primary studies have been in Systematic and Historical Theology, especially the theology of Jonathan Edwards and Richard Baxter.
